what in the world? no , you already answered that - how SMALL is that thing? how can you get your camera to DO that? You have an SLR/DSLR, don't you?

lol, actually the thing was about 6 inches long and as thick as two of my fingers put together. It was pretty big. As for my camera, I used a Canon Powershot A530, nothing fancy. I'm just glad I got a decent shot.

oh yeah. i'm currently on this incarnationg:
Canon PowerShot SX120 IS.

i've had 3 others (two met with a grisly demise after being bought brand new - one of which was hardly a MONTH after i got it!!!, and the third was a well used loaner whose flash kicked the bucket Yea verily at the worst time of all)

ouch! yeah, unless it's a video game I wouldn't suggest already used equippment. But I'm really happy with my Canon. Been discussing getting something that will take close up shots from farther distances. I've missed some good shots because of that.

well, at the time, i had no choice. i had busted my canon at a kids birthday party and with no money in my pocket, went and bought a new one - a floor model, no warrenty. one month after i bought that, my aunt knocks it out of my hand and it hits cement while open - completely busting it. and i didn't have the money to by a new one, when i shouldn't have bought THAT one...y'know? so my cousin says "hey, i just got a DSLR, you can take my old camera until you can afford to replace it" and it lasted for EXACTLY a YEAR after i got it. Which is kinda funny, the timing.

oh yeah, its hard to do any kind of macro shots, but my new camera has a 10x optical zoom which isn't too bad....i got some great shots of the joust this weekend with it....but thats about it. my cousin has sme great lenses she can switch out to for her DSLR that make me sooo envious.

wow... that's really weird... but I guess it worked out in the end. I've had some close calls with mine. One of my friends just got a new camera with all the cool lenses and whatnot. It's heavy!! I have no clue how to operate it, but it takes some wicked shots.
